Well here I am and it's 11:00am in Arizona. I'm outside the airport waiting for a shuttle bus which will take my brother and I to our first final destination. Good times indeed. The trip was uneventful for the most part. No girls freaked out by turbulence like on the last ride. I'll be posting pictures at some point - I got some pretty cool ones while flying over the mountains and such, thanks be to digital cameras.

To the chairman - I would have called if I knew you were there, and well if you were anywhere near gate 7. I only had a few minutes of lay-over from Rochester so it probably wouldn't have made much difference. To Ohyo - it is indeed very much like Bilbo's greatest adventure. Of course I made sure to sing that song before starting out as well.

Part 1 - New York (JFK)

So I'm sitting here in JFK after a fine little flight over from our esteemed airport in Rochester. I watched Sportscenter on the way over and enjoyed some nice chips that were oddly colored blue despite the fact that you would think potato chips would not have that color.

The morning started out perfectly since I had planned to get up 45min before my ride to the airport arrived, but instead my alarm decided not to go off and I was awoken by banging on the door and a call to my cell phone. I grabbed everything quickly and left a bit later than we had of course hoped.

We then showed up at the airport and managed to make it through everything ok (even though I almost left a bag behind, and we didn't bag up our liquids. We check the times and here our flight was leaving a half hour earlier than we thought. We boarded the flight immediately and had a nice flight. So now I'm off on the next flight - perhaps you'll learn more in Arizona.
