and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I wish I got off work for football

Yesterday marked the first day of the highly anticipated "First 100 Hours" of the new democrat controlled congress. Yesterday was a Tuesday. If you think about this for a moment you'll realize that generally people start the work week on Monday. For instance, I had Saturday and Sunday off and I returned to my work on Monday. Congress doesn't fly by the same rules though and they decided that it was in their best interest to take that day off.

The Congress of the United States of America, those we pay, in fact those that gave themselves a pay raise took what would have been the first day of their new session off this year...because of the BCS title game. That's right, they took off because college football was having their championship game.

Now it is my understanding that the democrats were going to pass legislation to increase the congressional work week but it seems that they have started out on the wrong foot. They gave themselves a holiday for a football game instead. I can't think of too many reasons that are worse than that to take off of work.

I know I personally went to work on Monday and indeed I also watched, live, as Florida rocked Ohio State 41-14 in an upset that most people were not expecting. Notice though, I watched it live and I went to work during the day. This must be shocking to congressmen and women but I actually had time after work to watch prime time television. This is amazing, I mean honestly how could I have enough time to do both, it's not like they actually schedule the game at a time when people can watch after work.

It's a good thing we have a government with such a good work ethic!

Their houses should be razed to the ground for such an atrocity.

So if yesterday was the first day of the "First 100 Hours" wouldn't that make Monday technically still part of the Republicans' Congressional control?

Actually, this proves that they are smart. They know they can take advantage of an ignorant populous.

And we wonder why our nation is going downhill, with leaders such as these.

To answer your question, I'm using Drupal. I was going to build a CMS on my own, but ran out of time. I like Drupal a lot, though.
