Well as much as I like to stay away from apocalyptical, end of the world, destruction of the west type articles, I'm afraid I just have to stray a bit from the usual humor filled happy go-lucky posts of yesteryear. I was trying to hold back and keep my remarks about Hugo Chávez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to myself. You'd think a small sarcastic comment in my last post would be enough, but I really can't contain myself any longer. We had Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran, pray for the coming of "the messiah" and the end of the world, while Chávez insulted our president and our country by calling George W. Bush "el Diablo."

There are forces in this world aimed at the complete and utter destruction of the United States, and they are acting right underneath our noses and no one in the country cares. When Khrushchev banged his shoe on the podium of the UN our nation was outraged, when Chávez calls our president the devil, everyone giggles silently to themselves and pretends it means nothing. When Ahmadinejad says that our country are the true terrorists and then prays for Armageddon we all sit back and say, "aw well isn't that cute, he wants the end of the world to come." He doesn't just want the end of the world, he's prepared to be the facilitator of that end and I don't mean by his prayers to allah.

Iran has been seeking nuclear weapons for quite some time, they're getting closer, and the world is unprepared to stop them. Al Qaeda apparently has nuclear weapons and possibly have smuggled them into the United States through our insecure Mexican border and are possibly planning to attack New York or Washington DC. The Arab world is rejoicing over the supposed victory of Hezbollah over Israel this summer and they are massing more and more forces to their cause every day. Iran is talking about wiping Israel off the face of the planet and while we're at it the entire Arab world is outraged over some comments that the pope made taken out of context. They're warning him that he should not visit Turkey as he might get assassinated, and one Muslim leader has declared that the green flag of Islam will soon fly over the Vatican.

So let me just fill you in on what's about to happen and if we still have internet when it does you can correct me if I'm wrong. The pope will get assassinated next month setting a firestorm off between Catholics and Muslims but likely drawing more to the side of the Muslims than that of the Catholics. Hezbollah will continue to attack Israel in every covert way they can, and Iran will prepare to attack them as soon as the US is out of the way. Al Qaeda is going to set off a nuclear weapon off in New York and/or Washington DC which will make the United States go crazy internally perhaps leading to martial law. This is when Venezuela and Hugo Chávez will shut off our oil leaving us in more disarray and will lead to Iran, Egypt, North Korea, and anyone else who wants to join in to begin assaulting the US military around the world that will have enough trouble figuring out what to do with our country back home. It will be a world war of epic proportions the like we've never seen. Along the line somewhere Ahmadinejad call for "the messiah" will yield perfect opportunity for the Antichrist to rise up and talk the world into peace.

Here's hoping that the rapture happens before the bombs start dropping, but if this isn't actually the end of the world and just the lead up to World War III, we've got a long road ahead of us. But hey look on the bright side, at least it's the last day of winter.......for the southern hemisphere.
