I don't know half of you half as well as I should like;
and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Home Sweet Home

Well here we are, in North Carolina...wow. It seems like camp ended a million years ago and yet it was only a few weeks, it seems like my wedding was in the distant past but yet I've been married for only 14 days. Things have been moving so quickly around here that I almost don't even know what's going on, but yet here we are finding ourselves moved into an apartment, trying to get things settled. We have things to pick up from the store because as you might imagine a Chevy Cavalier doesn't exactly bring everything you want from NY to NC very well. There's still little things like finding a church, figuring out how to get to Wal-Mart, fixing the terrible smell in the refrigerator (otherwise the apartment is wonderful by the way), but these things will come in time. We are here and we're ready to go.

The past three weeks have been crazy to say the least though. One minute I'm saying my last goodbyes at camp forever, never to return in the same capacity that I was there for the past four years and the next minute I'm saying "I do" and marrying the most amazing woman on the face of the planet. Then there was time for only quick goodbyes to some people who we wouldn't see for over six months, and we were off on our honeymoon for a week in the Adirondacks. Then we were back, and with no time to spare we were preparing to move down to North Carolina and leave everything we were accustomed to for six months. One week and one tropical storm later here we are.

Now it's our chance to start a new life, to become a new family and it begins here in North Carolina with just the two of us. We certainly won't forget our friends up north or down farther south or anywhere else, but for now it's just us, here, together, and it's going to be really amazing.

No Dan, he looks like he's enjoying himself.
Nice pic HT...very nice pic. :)

Make sure you randomly show up here some times. You can't marry a cool young lady like that and just hide her away in the south.
