I don't know half of you half as well as I should like;
and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Update on Camp

It's been a while since I've updated, and I'm not sure if everyone out there is happy about that or disappointed. Realistically it doesn't matter. It's been an extremely hectic bunch of weeks, what with wedding plans, and camp on its way and then camp here. It has also been an extremely trying time. CIT went well, but for whatever reason I didn't quite feel prepared in the same way that I have in past years, and then Family Camp came. I was blessed with blisters all over my feet thanks to some wet socks and a lot of walking, so the whole week was me hobbling around campus. God did a great work throughout the week though and it was exciting to be a part of it.

Last week came Sr. High week. I was informed at the start of the week that I'd be on the non-sports track, which I think I liked the idea of since I was coming into the week a bit more tired than I would have liked. When I got my first camper though, I found out that I would in fact be in sports. God was good though and I got put in aquatics for my sports time. There were only 17 teens in that sport and it meant I got to relax a bit during this part of the day. This turned out to be much needed because midway through the week I really started to feel sick. That became my struggle for the rest of the week. It seems like I've been hitting the sickness bug at camp lately and I'm not exactly liking it.

Pray for me as I work this coming week. There aren't many guys signed up so it looks like I won't be dead in the water in that way, however, I'm still not better and I could really use about 48 hours more sleep or so. I'm happy to report though that God really worked in the Sr. High week and many teens were affected by the ministry there. He is doing an amazing thing at Lamoka!

wow, sounds like you've had quite the journey these past few weeks! Glad you've been able to see the good in it though! I'll certainly be praying for these weeks to come! Sleep is good, I'm hoping you'll be able to catch up on it! XD

Amen. You really do seem to come down with quite a bit at camp . . . of course, according to Daniel, it's all a conspiracy . . . =) I feel incredibly blessed that I am not a person who gets sick (watch, now I will . . .)
