It's been a while since I've posted, and even more so it's been a while since I've updated you on my life so I decided it was worth doing today, however, I only bring it up because the events I will recount were yet another example in my life of how awesome God is and how He works things out in mysterious ways.

Several months ago my mom asked me if I wanted to reschedule the dentist appointment that I was not able to go to at that time. Since I'm working a distance away from my home town I asked her to make an appointment for whenever, and I would try to get off work and deal with the travel issue when the time arrived. Also several months ago, Cupcake got in contact with me about coming down a bit early before camp, hanging out a bit, and then going to a friend's graduation party. I told him to just let me know when all this would happen and that he was more than welcome to stay over at my apartment. You may see where this is going. As it turns out both were scheduled on the very same day, June 15th, which meant that after my dentist appointment I could then go pick up Jake at the airport and I didn't have to get off work twice.

This in and of itself was pretty cool I must say. Fast forward two weeks ago when I asked for time off. As it turned out there was another event that I was going to attend so I had to ask time off twice in one week, so I suggested that I could come in the second half of Thursday after I got Cupcake from the airport. My manager asked me if I didn't just want to take the whole day off, so in the end I decided that it might be nice to have the whole day to relax and hang out with my guest.

Cupcake's flight came in the early afternoon so after my dentist appointment I was taking care of some things before I went to pick him up when my phone rings. I answer it and hear Joe's voice on the other end, he figures out I'm not at work and asks me if I was doing anything. As it turned out he was in town on this day and this day only. Why was he in town you ask? Well he was with PW who was taking an exam that the state had scheduled for June 15th. He wondered if I'd be interested in doing anything and of course I was. So Cupcake, Joe, PW and I all got together for lunch. On top of all that, PW and Joe were also going to get belaying certifications while they were in town and they decided to bring Cupcake and I along for the ride and we got said certifications as well.

Sometimes God does truly miraculous things, and sometimes He simply makes events work together in a masterful plan, this was one of those times. It went from any other day, to being a day where I got to spend time with friends, go rock climbing, and otherwise enjoy myself. Of course then again, it could have all just "happened" by coincidence.
