I don't know half of you half as well as I should like;
and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Teen Retreat

Well the teen retreat started in interesting fashion...with torrential downpours in Rochester which got me soaked in about the first 5 seconds of being outside in them. Probably the worst rain I've ever seen. Anyway so then Mr. Fantastic and I went on our way to Lamoka and on the way through my town there's the random crossing guard lady stripping down...odd - just very odd. Then through Avon we completed a few more laps of the Avon 500 whereat we saw a thong in the road and almost hit it a few times. I wanted to get it for Hottie but we decided it was raining too hard to bother.

The retreat itself was great, there were a lot of teens there and from what I could see lots of fun was had. As a dish fish I didn't make it to chapel, but as far as I know Pastor LD did a good job and the messages were well received. The new rec room was a major success and was broken in nicely with our "round-robin" game of ping pong. I'd explain the game here - but its too tough - lets just say it has more to do with going around the table, than it does having people separated into a tournament.

The Casting Crowns testimony on Voice of Truth was played after that followed by a movie about super heroes (if you get the irony in that laugh). Anyway the Incredibles was humorous as always which was followed up by most people going to bed and some hanging out with friends at night. Saturday was much of the same retreat stuffs etc, and us kitchen people did the full deal lf cleaning etc. The highlight of Saturday was a great game designed by Joe and vbgurl. I won't go into it but the game was fantastic.

In closing I would just like to point something out to Mr. Fantastic. This comes straight from www.dictionary.com

v. itched, itch•ing, itch•es
v. tr.
2. To scratch (an itch).

You can indeed itch a scratch.

Yes you should scratch an itch and not itch a scratch -- but according to the dictionary and the fact that itch can be a verb,

this means you can itch a scratch.

Sounds like you all had a good time. Wish I was there. And NEWSFLASH** I don't even know what a blog really is and what the difference is b/w a blog and whatever you have. So what is this? The url says blog at the end.

Dawn can be quite beautiful, ya know? Plus, it was pretty neat to see Curtis. ;) It was cool to see so many people there. I pray the Lord will move mightly in the lives of those teens. ~Sugar igapocimm

Aw...I could have expanded my collection of thongs. How embarrassing though, I would never leave one of mine out in the street!
