I don't know half of you half as well as I should like;
and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

It all comes down to this...

Wow, who would have thought there was going to be a Game 7 in the American League Championship Series between the Red Sox and Yankees. Actually, everyone thought that, going into the series, and 3 games later, noone thought it. Its quite an impressive turn of events to be sure. The Yankees won the first 3 games needing only one more to get to the World Series. The Red Sox have since countered with 3 amazing wins of their own. And now here we are at Game 7.

This may not seem so amazing to you non-baseball fans, but consider this:
~No team has ever come back to win a 7 game series after being down 0-3.
~No team prior to this year has even forced a 7th game after being down 0-3.
~The Red Sox have been "cursed" ever since 1918 and thier loss of Babe Ruth.
~They can't seem to win any type of series in the playoffs vs the Yankees, including last year's 7 game series that they lost in Game 7.
~The Sox have the chance to make history in so many ways tonight, and then at the same time they could easily fail.

Its sure building up to be a great game between these two rivals, and I sure can't wait to see the finish...the only problem may be that the way these games have been going, the finish might not be until very late. I'm in the middle of suffering/recovering from an illness of some sort, and probably should get my rest...but alas - the playoffs only come once a year! And this is gonna be good!!!

i think its about that time for the sox to at least make it to the world series. And then if houston makes it too...itll be awesome. And if the series is the yanks and houston, then u got the whole clemens thing. So many possiblities. Ill be watching the last part of the NY BOS game tonight, i prob wont be home for the first pitch. anyway...have a good one tom (im not gonna put handsome, that would be weird).

Hmmm, yeah, I agree. The last couple of games have been awesome (although I haven't watched them completely). I'm looking forward to tonight's game, even though I shouldn't stay up that late either. My kiddos will have "grumpy Miss Howard" on their hands tomorrow. lol
